Hello, I'm Olivia
I am a project manager, a parent, and an expat living in London, United Kingdom.
Several years ago I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to United Kingdom wasn't in the long-term plan. Like many expat relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far greater.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, and raised expectations. Everyday tasks seemed more challenging than they should.
The Adjustment Period
There was cultural adjustment, ambiguity, and plenty of hands-on learning. Gradually, routines settled in. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began crafting something that felt secure.
Why I Built Bridge Ridge Path
Most information online was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was lacking was an honest, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical guidance grounded in real life in United Kingdom.
